Proven Results

"Two years ago, I only had 10 minutes to try to obtain a helpful hint to improving my golf swing during a free swing analysis session in the main hub of Monster Worldwide in Maynard MA affectionately called, the Monster Den.  Monster sponsored the sessions for us.  The pro was Todd Smith, and he had everything set up.  There was a camera, a computer, and, of course, a club, net, and an artificial grass swing pad.

Todd asked me if there was anything that I wanted to address in particular.  I told him I couldn't seem to get constant lift on my ball strikes.  I was habitually hitting "worm burners."  He nodded and then had me swing and the camera captured my swing.  It wasn't all that bad, but Todd showed me on his computer how my swing compared to a current PGA Tour player.  He explained the plane of the swing and how the pro kept it on the same angle throughout the swing.

It turns out that the pro "shifted" toward the target while swinging.  This seemed unnatural to me, but Todd had me throw a golf ball to illustrate how we all naturally step toward our target while throwing.  And, a golf swing should be no different.  So, I tried it with my swing, and there was an immediate improvement in the plane of my swing and power at impact.  Plus, the ball seemed to sail straight and true into the net.  Todd showed me the improvement with another swing analysis on his laptop.  I couldn't wait to try out this new found technique on the course.

Some three months later, I was finally able to go out golfing for the first time in over 18 months.  The technique Todd showed me kept me from embarrassing myself on the course, as I thought I had many times in the past.  My ball strikes were good, long and straight.  I believe those results came from that singular technique that Todd imparted.

I highly recommend adding Todd Smith's Sensory Golf to your list of self-improvements if you plan on stepping on a golf course in the future and especially if you can't play golf regularly".
